Hi! I’m Despina, it’s my hands & heart that make up the driving force behind Depy Zepo. Somehow, I have over 12 years of experience in a bevy of wide ranging, creative fields - from hand building ceramics and glass decor, to manipulating unusual materials to create interior displays at Anthropologie, to designing floral installations for weddings and weird, giant sculptures for events. I’ve seen it all, and more importantly want to teach you how to do it all, yourself. I love connecting with eager leaners, it’s always a treat to share the excitement of new materials and processes. I believe in tailoring my workshops to every skill level and personality types, all are welcome in my creative spaces!

I’ve been teaching workshops for many moons, across all different kinds of genres. Currently, I offer in-person workshops centered around hand built ceramics, floral & botanical design, and glass fusing. I treat the Depy Zepo HQ as a landing place for exploring ones’ intuition through making objects. Located in between Pilsen & Chinatown in Chicago, the studio has over 1200 sqft full of kilns, tools, materials, random speakers, a LOT of shelves and rocks/crystals/brass sculptures/little ornaments from Greece, idk the vibes are simply immaculate!
